This is a fantastic opportunity to join our amazing team at Viewpark Montessori Nursery. We are recruiting for a full time Modern Apprentice and require an enthusiastic individual to work and care for children aged 6-weeks to 5-years. 


At Viewpark Montessori Nursery, we offer high quality early education and childcare. Our nursery is a stand alone building within the Righead Industrial Estate in the Bellshill area. Our convenient location has quick links to the motorway and the local bus stop is only a 5-minute walk – making us an ideal location. We are open 8.00 am – 6.00 pm for 50 weeks of the year, Monday to Friday. 



Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - 

  • To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for all children. 

  • To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Playroom Manager / Nursery Manager. 

  • To complete all academic aspects of the apprenticeship. • Ensuring that provision is of the highest quality through providing a safe, caring and child-centred learning environment. 

  • To plan and organise activities and experiences which will support and extend children’s learning in line with Pre-birth to Three Curriculum, Curriculum for Excellence and NLC expectations. 

  • To work in partnership with all our families both formally and informally. 

  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of our children in all aspects of their young lives. 

  • To liaise with parents through purposeful communication when necessary, including meeting and greeting time as well as parent appointments etc.
